[CFT] CombatLogReader Beta Release

Hi everyone,

This time we will need your help and feedback to test a new CLR version. Below is a download link for the new Combatlogreader.jar version which we consider as a early *BETA* version. We made a lot of changes to improve the memory usage and performance. (#Note: so far there is the .jar version for testing available). Please give us some feedback below this post or ingame @miwifbsd or @Felisean.

Changelog:

Fixes:

  • Fixed memory leaks
  • Remove unused Code and Refactor some parts
  • Fixed InBoundMemory Exceptions when move Minutes between Combats to left/right
  • Rework the way Auto Refresh works to reduce the amount of memory while reading the Combatlog
  • Fix for a bug in Archive function, previously when auto reload was on and a archive file was saved, clr was reading the file again, again and again which have eaten your memory like nuts :>!

New:

  • CombatLog size detector, when your Logfile reaches 100 Mb you will get a reminder to keep your log small.

Why is it some of the combats wont upload becuase it says says less than 94 % of time was spent in combat? It seems to be a glitch. One Pug ws fast and another was was slow but I was engaged the whole time. I am using the beta version and regular version of CLR

It’s not a glitch. Its the requirement to upload runs, that you have to be in combat for at least 94% of the time of the combat. Otherwise you could just do an alpha strike and than nothing and you would have extrem high dps values (bc of extremly low combat time). To prevent this, there is this rule 🙂
Basically there are only 2 rules to upload isa parses. The combattime is #1 and as a second that you should not do more than 45% of your total damage output against the gate (to prevent people from sitting all the time infront of the gate ^^).

I had one ISA combat where the whole team got the 94% message. Another one was really fast so I just stayed int he middle but was firing almost the whole time. Is the 94% based on log time or fight time? I had one combat where I was only idle for 21 seconds (100s, total time 121). It was a public pug and most public ISA are a free for all at the start ^^.

In another one all team members were disqualified for their combat time which does not make since and it was a 7:59 minute run. The only thing I can think of is that CLR is not counting the the pet time with the players time. Seems like if your combat time is really long it would not matter what percent you spent as your DPS would be lower anyways. Is it possible to use CLR to export that one combat to a file (that would be good feature to have). Does the ISA run basically need to be done in a certain time (fast) to get that 94+ percent?

fight time of the whole combat. It is possible to save one combat (the big save button^^). In case theres a problem with the run, you could just send me the logfile to check it, otherwise its pretty difficult 🙂

And no, you could take 1251251 minutes to finish the combat, that doesnt matter. the 94% counts from the first shoot one person fires at an enemy (including pets) to the end when all enemies are dead. As example: if you start 10 seconds later into the combat than the others, you most likely will get the msg. if you stop 10 seconds b4 everyone else does (maybe a roaming sphere or so) you would either not hit the 94%.

    100/121 = 82.6%

  • whicky1978  says:

So if one person fires but then all team members sit idle and then finish, the message would be tripped?

The combat I am referring to is from 10/8/17. I will played as Rima.

Use this link. I figured out how to save the single combat.

What kind of software license does combat reader have?

    • felisean  says:

      Is that important? 🙂
You could download it for free, use it for free but you’re not allowed to modify/change/sell etc it 😉
At least thats what i’m saying but i’ll ask the author of it.

        Mostly just curious.
