Buran with Veteran Skin

The latest additions to STO’s C-Store are the Command Dreadnaught Cruisers, Buran / Cardenas (Fleet Version) for the Federation and Qoj / Fleet Qoi for the KDF. Lacking a LtC tactical Bridge Officer and two hybrid command seats these ships certainly are off-meta. But nonetheless, the Buran is a beautiful ship which is good enough to punch through any mission STO has to offer. The Qoj, on the other hand, looks a bit odd but offers a battle cloak to even it out.

The Engle class mirror escort carrier is the latest addition to the infinity lockbox. It’s a versatile escort with a decent layout and a great experimental weapon. The starship trait is a pretty good alternative for those of us who have missed last year’s winter event ship or are flying carriers.

If you are able to handle the additional speed boost the trilithium-laced weaponry set gives you, you should change the gamma set turret and console and use this set instead. 
Approaching Agony is a very cheap universal console that adds +15% Phaser damage and +1.5% CrtH. Use it instead of an expansive Lobi console. Hostile Aquisition is a cheap alternative to Weapon Sensor Enhancer...

I’m happy to publish my Herald Baltim Heavy Raider PvP build i’m using at the moment in Arena and Kerrat. I know, it’s not a DPS build, but hey, PvP is there, even if it’s a very little part of the game. Some of you guys would like to fly some Arena or CnH with a competitive configuration, so this one may be interesting  😉 

This is a 5x Dual Heavy Cannons CRF build able to make very high damage hits on target within a short frametime, very useful to neutralize the enemy in a short burst. Also it’s very speedy since it runs the new Competitive Engines and its 2pc Space Set, and it uses some defensive setups that you will see in a moment. 

Of course, that’s not meant to be the perfect build or the best configuration possible out there, that’s just what I ca...
